Why does my file look different?
Changing the aspect ratio crops the edges. Lower KB limits reduce image quality. Always inspect your downloaded photo.
Can I use this for an official form?
Follow that form’s own dimensions, file size and editing rules. The tool does not certify a photo’s acceptance.
EDV framing guide
- Face the camera, eyes open, neutral expression.
- Use a recent colour photo and a plain white or off-white background.
- Head height: 50–69% of the photo, chin to top of head.
- No glasses; review official exceptions for coverings.
- Use an original photo. This mode does not retouch or replace backgrounds.
